"Only 230,000 marine species are currently known to exist, but it is estimated that there are 2 million. Would you like to learn about some of these marine species? Explore the aquariums in Mexico.

The Inbursa Aquarium is located in Mexico City, in the Nuevo Polanco area. This unique aquarium is underground and covers 3,500 square meters. It features over 40 exhibition rooms and five giant fish tanks. Here, you can encounter 230 aquatic species, including sharks, jellyfish, corals, crocodiles, and many more.

Veracruz is one of the most beautiful states in the Mexican Republic and is also known for having Mexico's most famous aquarium, located in the Port of Veracruz. It includes exhibition areas for freshwater galleries, oceanic tanks, saltwater galleries, a shark environment where you can swim with them, a dolphin area for observation or swimming, and a penguin exhibit. They also have an ecological area that recreates the jungle ecosystem.

In the Mexican Caribbean, you can find the world's second-largest reef, the Interactive Aquarium Cancun, with 13 huge tanks. It is situated in the La Isla shopping center in the hotel zone of Cancun. There are many attractions such as swimming with dolphins, feeding turtles, touching starfish, sea cucumbers, and more! One of the best and most original activities is dolphin therapy, a therapy for individuals with special needs and psychological disorders.

On the shores of the Mexican Pacific, besides its magnificent beaches, there is a magnificent aquarium with 52 ponds housing numerous species. There are diving exhibitions, sea lion shows, bird displays, and predatory animal shows. It also has a botanical garden with 75 species of trees and exhibits snails, bones, and fishing methods.

In a city far from the sea but with access to it, you can find the Guadalajara Aquarium within its zoo. It houses 95 species of fish, sharks, rays, and jellyfish. It has a huge tunnel where you can observe various species swimming above your head.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit each one of them! At Xpats, we want you to have the best experience and discover every corner of the country. Let us know if you have already visited any of these aquariums!"
