Spring in Mexico is the transition between the cold of winter and the heat of summer. Temperatures can range between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius, and a dry and warm climate predominates. Given the geographical extension of our country, the climate depends greatly on the region in question.

There are some highly recommended places for a spring vacation in Mexico, whether it is a getaway for the spring "bridge" (remember that on Monday, March 21, our country commemorates the birth of President Juárez, so it is a day mandatory rest period) or, for a longer vacation period, such as holy week.

Located in Mascota, Jalisco, Sierra Lago is the ideal paradise for those looking to forget the hustle and bustle of city life and rest in a natural environment. Sierra Lago is a magical space where, during the day, you can ride a bike, ride a horse, and sail the waters of the lake; At night, you can see the Milky Way from every corner of the place and rest in comfortable and cozy cabins.

Chichén Itzá is a highly visited site on the beginning of spring; an archaeological area declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you can welcome spring in Mexico and recharge your energy while contemplating the unique phenomenon that only occurs twice a year, “the descent of Kukulcán.” In the afternoon, in the days close to the equinox, the shadow of the nine platforms of this monument is projected on the northeast staircase of the Kukulcán Pyramid, which resembles a snake that seems to descend as time passes. If you are interested in seeing this spectacle that we should all witness at least once in our lives, plan a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula.

Los Cabos San Lucas, a beautiful place you should escape to this destination with a dual essence where two towns with a unique atmosphere converge and are joined by a 30-kilometer corridor full of world-class hotels. Explore San José del Cabo, a typical Mexican town with cobblestone streets and a colonial church in its main square, or if you prefer, visit Cabo San Lucas, a modern city and important cruise port. For the spring long weekend, you will have the opportunity to observe the different species of whales that travel annually to these waters to feed and reproduce.

Less than 150 kilometers from Mexico City, Valle de Bravo is a perfect place to escape the noise of the metropolis. This Magical Town, surrounded by hills and located next to Lake Avándaro, has a wide range of activities full of excitement: Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, sailing, water skiing, kayaking, rowing boats, zip lining, rock climbing and paragliding or hang-gliding flights, are just some of the adventures that you can enjoy in this destination.

Botanical gardens are institutions whose purpose is the conservation, exhibition and research of gardens and plants. What better season to visit them than spring? Little by little you will see hundreds of flowers that fill the multiple botanical gardens that exist throughout the country with colors. A family trip to one of these institutions will help you educate your children and familiarize them with nature. If children know this wonderful world, they will appreciate and preserve it.
